My First Easter

We had a fabulous first Easter Sunday with Hayden. It was our first day back to Church and Hayden's first morning in a nursery... I was a nervous wreck, but he did FANTASTIC! The ladies laughed when they told us that "he rolled the whole hour!" We were relieved that he didn't cry or stay upset in our absence.

We spent the afternoon at Mike and Julie's with Logan helping H to "hunt" Easter eggs filled with coins and PUFFS! He did a great job picking up each egg, but inserting them directly into his mouth, not the (coolest football easter basket) basket, swimming and enjoyed Mike cooking out.

Julie took some beautiful pictures for us to share!

These Days it's All About...

*Roll'n under the coffee table, I'm convinced that "forts" are the thing to come of this obsession! * Finger foods... we like bananas (when they don't slip out of our hands) and pasta, but LOVE us some puffs! Although some get into our mouth... we really like stuffing them down beside our legs, they just fit so well, along with toys of every sort!
*If I drop it on the ground... Mommy will surely pick it up!!!
*Saying "HI" as we come into any room and "UH-OH" when all those toys hit the ground for us to pick up... well at least that's what we like to think he's saying!!!
*We love being outside too... but he's usually attached to me in some way, so there aren't many pics of that!

A Trip Back to OKC...

My dad was back at home the first of April, so H and I made a trek back to Oklahoma City to see my parents again. It had been a few months since my dad saw Hayden, so he was so excited to have us in. It was certainly different traveling with Hayden by myself but we had a blast visiting BGs and Pops! And the Jumparoo was an even bigger hit now that Hayden could fully enjoy it and the cats were the funnest thing to watch... you could tell Hayden knew they did NOT look like Milbster at home, nor did they sound like him. So he was completely enamored by watching them each day.
Although it wasn't as cold as in North Dakota anymore, but Pops thought the beanie was too cute to not plop on H's head! He also brought back the cutest T-shirt, but the most appropriate for our family these days!!! It read: "Don't let the diaper fool you, I'm the BOSS around here!" How true!!! He rules the roost for sure, but oh how fun it is! How can you resist this face???

LOOK WHO'S TURNING FOUR!!!!

My first baby had his "special" Birthday this week... he turned four on 4/4!!! Hayden and I sang Happy Birthday many times... and Milby said thanks by licking us uncontrollably (kisses come free in our house these days)! But Mr. Milbs is still adjusting to H, he hates when he cries, although we have calmed down on the howling while he cries, and still doesn't quite get what this little things is that rolls around on the floor and takes up his mommy time. I just can't wait til Hayden is up running around, I think Milby will completely enjoy him then, pulling on diapers and chasing balls together in the backyard. And although he has slowed down a bit, he's still the best running partner, the three of us enjoy our daily outings.

My First Birthday Party... to go to!

Our friend's son, Cade, had his 1st Birthday Party on Saturday and H had a blast at his party!!! Although he sat around chewing on his toys and rolling around on their living room floor, we all had a blast. It was a beautiful day and we got lots of great pictures... LOVE the one of our little dude in his Daddy's hat! Cade was so cute... I've never seen a kiddo who picked up his entire cake to take his first bite, it was halarious and too cute. Needless to say when he was done devouring his first "sweet" experience he was carted off to the bathtub and the highchair needed a water hose. GT and ofcourse began over-analyzing what to do for Hayden in about four months. .

I can't end this post without mentioning this little girl whom we met at the party... she was too cute for one and when you ask her who her favorite football player is she wide-eyedly says "Donald Driver" with a little umph. Then, when you ask her who her favorite team is she again very proudly says "The Pack". So ofcourse everyone wanted her to tell Glenn. And when he asked her if she was happy when they beat the Falcons, she just looked at us like we were crazy. Leave it to a little girl to show you what is really important. She was a doll, although we didn't agree in the sporting world, we had good talks about her adorable shoes and cute outfit.

Fun afternoon!!!!
