Off to School He goes...

What a Ham!!!

This is what he did when I told him to put his hands down by his side...

But this STOLE the show... he was waving at all the cars going by- no kidding- never a dull moment!

All smiles once inside. He was one of few who didn't shed a tear!

And on our way to the car, we were turning heads again!!!

Day two... me and my "pack"! Can you see my adorable shoes?
So Hayden has officially begun preschool, last year we tried it and it just wasn't in the cards for us... this year I think will ring a different tune!- he seems to LOVE it so far! It's only two days a week, so I think it will be good for us all. Day one we made a hit in the parking lot for two reasons: A. While taking pictures before, Hayden proceeded to wave to all the cars driving into the parking lot, no kidding, I'm just telling you, he is a ham! B. At the end of the day, he completely insisted to carry his "pack" which literally equals him in size (it nearly drags the ground) and isn't too light with his lunchpack inside. He wanted to wear it all the way to the car, with his adorable "Preschool is Fun" headband riding just around his eyes. So with my big belly leading, I balanced keys, wallet and huge cupcake carrying container on one arm, Hayden's hand in the other, we trudged to the car- with laughs and "oh my gosh he's the most adorable thing ever" all around. A lady even asked if she could take our picture for me. It was an eventful day to say the least. But he honestly did fabulous. I couldn't have been more proud of him, smiling the entire time almost each child cried as their moms left them. And then watching him waving and blowing me a kiss as I left, my heart sank, but for good reason. We are attached at the hip- literally- so I know this is just the best thing for him, to go play and hang out with some kiddos, so I smile as big as he, to assure him all is great and that I will be back to pick him up, with smiles all around again!!!

I'm the Lucky One...

Busy ladies... working a "baby" word search

There's always got to be good football goodies!!!

And Falcon Gear!

Hayden got many Big Brother Gifts as well...

He was elated to find some "treats" that mommy doesn't keep around! YUM

From Logan... super Fun!
Ask him to show you his teeth, this is what you get!!!

With Baby Dos' arrival fast approaching (I'm about four weeks away from delivery now) the coaches wives wanted to have a baby shower and Auntie Julie was kind enough to host it. It was a wonderful afternoon, low key lunch with and enjoyable visit with the ladies- just what a celebration should be. One of the most special things about the afternoon was an idea Julie had for "blessing beads" for Dylan- all of the ladies wrote a blessing on a small sheet of paper and then strung a bead on a leather rope to represent it. As I read through the inspiring and special words later that evening, they each touched me, but the one that stuck out and was repeated, was how lucky HE was. I remember the same words being written in Hayden's cards at his shower, and as I read them again I couldn't help but think... I'm the Lucky One!!! I'm the first to admit as to how I come across to most people- it's been  a fault of mine my entire life, one that I continue to work on, but at the end of the day, I honestly feel like one of the luckiest people in the world! Our life is far from perfect, but with a loving and supportive husband who is literally living out his childhood dream by coaching in the NFL (literal childhood dream, most people don't realize that, but he he is), an adorable, healthy son who makes me smile at every turn of our days, a beautiful dog who can still keep up with me on our too-long of runs at eight months pregnant (oh were a sight, dog, jogger, my belly- we've turned some heads) and a healthy baby boy on his way ... I truly feel that I'm the lucky one!
