A 'lil bit of SUNSHINE...

yes... my belly button has officially "popped"

Ready to go Crabb'n

Our "home away from home" for the week

Pops is on "milby duty"

Daddy's snorkeling "catch"

Hayden truly LOVED the beach!!!

"Momma do we have to leave???"

This is what happens when Daddy and Pops are left to babysit (I only went for a walk)!!!

"what now?"

Hayden's "sparkly" cup for dinner!

"just like Daddy"

You have to look close... but, there are Dolphins swimming alongside our boat

WWWOOOOOOOOHHHHH!

There is no better place to spend Week 29 than at the BEACH!

Little "prankster"... obviously not Milby's hat!

I LOVE my Daddy!
At the beginning of each summer I always think, wow we've got four weeks to enjoy Glenn, what all are we going to do.? And, at the end of our four weeks, I always think, we had four weeks- where did it go? Good problem to have I know, but this year was one of our most enjoyable and memorable- so far! From Texas to home, we had a week before we headed for the beach, which we spent re-vamping our entire house prepping for Baby Dos- Hayden got a new room and we set up nursery number two, amongst other projects as well. This year we tried something a little different, we rented a beach house in Cape San Blas, a peninsula off the coast of Florida, on the gulf side. My parents joined us and we all felt like we were "home away from home". From searching for seashells to naps in the swing under the covered porch during rainy afternoons to building OUR first sandcastle (it was a first for each of us, not just Hayden, so super special) to a boat ride to a deserted island, we enjoyed every minute of our trip. Since Milby got to tag along this time, it was truly a family trip and the pictures show what a special time it was. Again I have to say... we are truly Blessed!

Summer Travels and Fun

Aubrey and I with the beginning of our "boy generation"!

Boo loves her great-grandsons!

Landry, Aubry and Hayden- what a trio!

Hayden loves his SueSue and Poppy!

Four generations- all smiles!
Hayden and I traveled to Baltimore early summer to celebrate the arrival of my cousins baby- Brecken Archer- with a generation of girls- it's so funny to see that we already have all these boys running around- and another on the way- we decided a yearly picture would capture our growing families quite nicely.
Our summer trip to Texas was such fun- beginning in Eastland where H gets to chase the girls and leaving from my parent's where Hayden was finally able to meet my Grandmother- two years to long, but was a special time.

These are a few of our favorite things...

"SSSSHHHH"- I will spray you!!!!

Little "mini camp" snack time

My dad's the BEST!!!

I gotta have one too!

Cheesey Smile!

I'm now being read to... on the floor!

Big Hugs!

Yep dad, its level!

These days Hayden has a mind of his own... the entire toddler phase of "me do it" is upon us! Every day I'm completely blown away at what he can do- and a little of what he wants to do- but can't just yet! There's never a dull moment for certain- thank goodness. These pictures capture just a few glimpses of his wit, character, determination (thank goodness as well), and compassion... and a few fun pictures from mini camp.
*The water hose (whether hooked up to the hose or not) is one of our favorite past times- no one is safe!
*Drills, hammers, levels, screwdrivers, you name it, H will help you with your honey-do's. We've had many projects this summer- got to get Glenn while he's home, before he disappears for the year- and Hayden is always there to lend a hand.
*First mini-camp visit to see daddy for the year, H was so fun- stealing the show- and loving to get to see his daddy afterward.
*GT had a little dental surgery so I was taking care of them both. GT needed an ice-pack the first evening, so of course Hayden had to have one as well- plus he had to pull "GG" the giraffe up on the couch to sit with Glenn while he was healing and hugs to boot- love it!
