Winter Days...

Give a kid a million toys... he loves the BOX!!! We have a book, which is one of our favorites, titled "Little Boy" and it is Hayden to a tee these days. While it has been chilly here in Atlanta, we venture outside to play every time we can. But most of our days have been filled with play, naps and runs! Just a few shots of H with Daddy and his new clubs (Hayden has some too of course). H loves mommy's Protein smoothies, still wakes up with crazy hair and loves to get IN Tow Mater!

Another Season... Tons of Memories!!!

Although our season came to a sad ending yesterday afternoon, we had fun all along the way. With H in tow and now fully mobile, game watching has taken on new form! So, we weren't able to go to as many of our games and he spent some time down stairs with the other kiddos, but when he did venture up the box to watch with us he was truly the life of the party (or not, at times he was conked out!) These pictures are just priceless. He and Logan are truly best pals, he LOVED watching the "frisbee dogs" at half time, eating lunch with a view, climbing stairs with Auntie Julie (over and over and over and OVER) and Annie and Bob were in for New Years... what better day could a kid have?

Christmas 2011

What a difference a year can make!

All I can say is BEST EVER!!! Everyone says it's so much better with kids and they are right! We had so much fun experiencing the joys of the holiday season through Hayden this year... and I think I can speak for my entire family- especially with BG's and Pops here to enjoy every moment. He was a joy to watch, lead and play with. Christmas Eve was enduring fun, with an afternoon walk out in our beautiful weather, Hayden enjoyed opening everyone's gifts, wearing Logan's Falcon Santa hat, was quite intrigued by his "make-shift booster seat, and finally conked out in the car on our drive home from Aunt Julie and Uncle Smitty's. Christmas morning was everything you hope for... Hayden's face when he saw the toys sitting on the fireplace was priceless. "Smiley" honey-banana pancakes were made and lots of stockings were opened, but the true joy was enjoying the time with our family and friends. I can honestly say this was my favorite Christmas- YET! For, I know there are many more to come... each a little more special.
Not only was Christmas special, but as you can tell we had lots of exciting things happening with Team Thomas... Hayden now officially has become terrified of Santa Claus- OK only because I was told to "run" after I sat him down on his lap- they don't know us well!!! But, he does love the fishies at the Bass Pro Shop-oh yes and the girls, he was a little more interested in watching them! Hayden and Milby are fast become best buds (sort of)... but, in these pics you can't see it play out, but as Milby lay in another room, Hayden insistently kept taking bone after bone to him, then finally offered his sippy cup- broke my heart! And the Falcons are in the Playoffs... here we come New York! Blessed!!!
